Management Hunt Package – Option A

This hunt combines a great hunting experience with the knowledge you are undertaking a management task of reducing the numbers of quality animals who have no natural predators.  You will be hunting on exactly the same terrain and in the same manner as a “Trophy” hunt but will only be shooting antelope who need to be taken out of the large herds for population control and to maintain a strong gene pool. The price quoted for this package is all inclusive and based on two people sharing accommodation.  The quoted numbers of days are full hunting days, as day of arrival does not constitute part of your hunt.

We can accommodate solo guests or up to a maximum of 6 people in the 3 twin-bedroom Wilderness Chalets we have available.  There will be 3 Professional Hunters (PHs) at hand, meaning we will be able to ensure a healthy ratio of 1 PH for every 2 clients out hunting each day.

Terms and Conditions

What does your Rate include?

• Transport to and from Port Elizabeth
• Welcome soft drink and refreshment flannel on arrival
• En-suite accommodation in our Wilderness Chalets
• All meals, soft drinks, local beers and spirits
• Daily room and laundry service
• Support staff and experienced trackers
• Fully equipped hunting vehicles
• For every 2 hunters, the service of 1 Professional Hunter
• Vermin hunting will be Free of Charge on this package  (monkeys, baboons, jackal, caracal and dassies)
• VAT and Tourism levies

Glen Harry will dictate which animals may be shot, therefore variations within each species should be expected between male/female and young/old shooters, and we reserve the right keep the carcasses.

If you would like to shoot additional animals, either trophy hunts, representative hunts, or further species in a management hunt this can be arranged at an additional price (please refer to our separate price list for these).  Preparation of trophy mounts can also be arranged at an extra cost with our local taxidermy in Graaff-Reinet.
